Infection Control Training Course
(Social Service Sector) (Blended Learning)
Aim of Training Course
The project provides targeted infection control training and support to frontline staffs and managerial staffs in social service sector, to equip them with up-to-date infection control knowledge, skills, and simulation training opportunities to:
1. Raise the awareness of infection control and build confidence within industries.
2. Enhance the skills and knowledge of frontline employees in implementing infection control and prevention measures.
3. Increase the awareness and capabilities of managerial staffs in infection control management and handling infectious disease outbreaks.
4. Strengthen the industry's resilience and recovery capabilities against infectious disease outbreaks.
Content of Training and Support Service
A. Infection Control Training Course
Online Mode

Utilizes an interactive online learning platform to help participants easily understand and master infection control knowledge.

Allows participants to flexibly schedule their learning time.

After enrolling, participants will receive an email with course details.
-
The course must be completed within three months, or the course link will expire.

Participants need basic device skills and a personal email to access the online platform. Use a computer, tablet, or phone with a stable internet connection.
Face-to-face Mode (6 to 30 participants per class)

Offers interactive workshops customized for units in different service sectors.

Units can select workshops tailored to their specific needs.

Enables participants to not only learn infection control knowledge online but also practice and experience infection control techniques in person.
B. Table Drill on "Infectious Diseases Outbreak Prevention and Management"
Target: managerial staff

Facilitate managerial staffs through tabletop infectious disease outbreak prevention and management simulation exercises with scenarios closely related to schools.

Facilitate schools to revise or create internal workflows or guidelines related to infection control.
C. On-site Visit and Assessment Service
Target: managerial staff

Pre and post on-site visits and assessment with school managerial staff.

Conduct comprehensive discussions and exchange knowledge on feasible infection control measures.

Facilitate schools in developing improvement items and follow-ups.

Become Infection Control Shielders
Eligibility:
Participating units must complete (1) Infection Control Training Course, (2) Table Drill on "Infectious Diseases Outbreak Prevention and Management", and (3) On-site Visit and Assessment Service 1&2.
The participating unit will join us to become a member of the "Infection Control Team, the Shielders" to combat infectious diseases, working together with the project ambassador “Shieldy” to enhance community health. Upon meeting the above conditions, the participating unit will:

Automatically enrolled as “Shielders”, no additional application is required;

Receive a “Shield Mark” certificate issued by this project;

Be invited to display the “Shield Mark” at the units, on the unit’s website (if applicable); and have the unit's name listed on the project's webpage.
