Elderly Home Carers Workshop (EHCW)
Course Objective:
To satisfy candidates who are interested in acquiring home care and first aid skills for elderly. This course contents include understanding of ageing process, basic needs of elderly, home care tips such as catering, transportation, skin & wound care, prevention of fall, basic first aid skills, immediate management of accidents / medical emergencies etc. After course completion, candidates could understand certain home caring and first aid skills, but not attaining the qualification of “Qualified First Aider”.

Course Duration: 12 hours
Class Size: 10 to 20 candidates per class
Entry Requirement: Aged 15 or above
Medium of Instruction: Cantonese or English
Instructor: Registered Nurse and First Aid Lecturer of Hong Kong Red Cross
Course Fee: Including 2 CPR face shields for practical use, bandage pack, dressing set, course notes and attendance certificate
