Elementary First Aid Course (EFA)

 

Course Objective:

To satisfy candidates who are interested in acquiring first aid knowledge. This course contents include basic first aid theory, immediate management for accidents etc. After course completion, candidates could have basic understanding of first aid, but not attaining the qualification of “Qualified First Aider”.

  • Principle of First Aid
  • Bleeding & Wounds
  • Shock & Fainting
  • Choking
  • Asthma
  • Unconsciousness
  • Fever
  • Febrile Convulsion
  • Poisoning
  • Burns & Scalds
  • Skeletal Injuries
  • Simple bleeding bandaging

 

Course Duration: 4 hours

 

Class Size: 16 to 30 candidates per class

 

Entry Requirement: Aged 15 or above

 

Medium of Instruction: Cantonese, Putonghua or English

 

Instructor: First Aid Lecturer of Hong Kong Red Cross

 

Course Fee: Including notes and certificate cost (Online Course: Course notes can be collected together with the attendance certificate at our registration centre office after completion of the course.)

Training Material (Not included in the course fee and the materials you ordered will be distributed during lessons):

Training Material Student Price

Bandage Pack: included one dressing gauze, one 5 cm (2 inches) roller bandage and one triangular bandages, and one pair of disposable gloves

* Students are required to bring a bandage pack with them during the course.

 

Certificate: 

Students should have 100% attendance in order to get the Elementary First Aid Attendance Certificate.

 

Training Venue:

We could provide training at client’s premises; clients can also rent our premises for training. Please contact our staff for details.
