Elementary Child First Aid Course (CEFA)

 

Course Objective:

This course mainly focuses on the first aid management and prevention of children accidents. After course completion, candidates could have basic understanding of first aid, but not attaining the qualification of “Qualified First Aider”.

  • Principle of First Aid
  • Bleeding & Wounds
  • Shock & Fainting
  • Suffocation & Choking
  • Unconsciousness
  • Febrile Convulsion (Seizures in children)
  • Poisoning
  • Burns & Scalds
  • Skeletal Injuries
  • Animal Bite
  • Heat Stroke
  • Household safety measures and precautions
  • Simple bleeding bandaging

 

Course Duration: 4 hours

 

Class Size: 16 to 30 candidates per class

 

Entry Requirement: Aged 15 or above

 

Medium of Instruction: Cantonese, Putonghua or English

 

Instructor: First Aid Lecturer of Hong Kong Red Cross

Training Material (Not included in the course fee and the materials you ordered will be distributed during lessons):

Training Material Student Price

Bandage Pack: included one dressing gauze, one 2 inches roller bandage and three triangular bandages, and one pair of disposable gloves

*Students are required to bring a bandage pack with them during the course.

 

Certificate:

Students should have 100% attendance in order to get the Elementary Child First Aid Attendance Certificate.

 

Training Venue:

We could provide training at client’s premises; clients can also rent our premises for training by paying extra charge. Please contact our staff for details.
