Course Objective:
Apart from theory, the course offers adequate practices on CPR.
Course Contents:

Anatomy and physiology of heart and lung

Introduction of heart diseases and prevention

Introduction of suffocation and prevention

Knowledge and skills of adult, child and infant CPR

Knowledge and skills of adult, child and infant choking management
Course Duration: 9 hours
Class Size: 10 to 14 candidates per class
Entry Requirement: Aged 15 or above
Medium of Instruction: Cantonese, Putonghua or English
Instructor: First Aid Lecturer of Hong Kong Red Cross
Course Fee: Including CPR & AED course manual, examination fee and certificate cost

Examination Contents:
1. Written examination |
- 25 Multiple Choice Questions (complete within 20 minutes, passing score is 18 correct answers)

2. Practical examination |
- Adult Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (ACPR)
- Child Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CCPR)
- Infant Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (ICPR)

Certificate:
Students should fulfill the following criteria in order to get the Integrated Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate with 3 years validity.

Eligible to attend the examination with 100% attendance

Pass in both written and practical examinations
Re-examination:

Candidates who failed the written examination can apply for re-examination (RET) once. A fee of HK$150 will be charged. All re-examination should be taken within 6 months from the date of first examination.
