Course Objective:
This course covers the knowledge and skills of Adult Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (ACPR), Automated External Defibrillation (AED) and choking management.

Course Duration: 6 hours
Class Size: 6 to 8 candidates per class
Entry Requirement: Aged 15 or above
Medium of Instruction: Cantonese, Putonghua or English
Instructor: Automated External Defibrillation Instructor of Hong Kong Red Cross
Course Fee: Including CPR & AED course manual with video, examination fee and certificate

Examination Contents:
1. Written examination |
- 25 Multiple Choice Questions(complete within 25 minutes, passing score is 18 correct answers)

2. Practical examination |
- Adult Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (ACPR)
- Automated External Defibrillation (AED)

Certificate:
Students should fulfill the following criteria in order to get the Adult Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate and Automated External Defibrillation Certificate with 3 years validity.

Eligible to attend the examinations with 100% attendance

Pass in both written and practical examinations
Re-examination:

Candidates who failed the written examination can apply for re-examination (REA) once. A fee of HK$150 will be charged. All re-examination should be taken within 6 months from the date of first examination.

Candidates who failed the practical examination of AED can re-take their examination once on-site for free.

We could provide training at client’s premises; clients can also rent our premises for training. Please contact our staff for details.
